About Us
UPICA ( Uttar Pradeshies In Canada ) (यूपिका) is an organization federally incorporated under the “Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act”. UPICA has Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
The MoU focuses on assisting people from UP to seek education and employment opportunities in Canada, benefiting both countries, India, and Canada, and leading to more prepared immigrants, who will be more productive in Canada as they have all the tools necessary to start their new lives in Canada.
UPICA - At Work
As Uttar Pradeshies residing in Canada, it’s essential for us to stand united, both during times of adversity and during moments of joyous celebration. We’ve pinpointed certain critical areas where our community frequently requires collective support to assist our fellow citizens.
SENIOR CITIZEN SUPPORT
UPICA has made an investment in Milap, a dedicated center designed for senior citizens, offering a range of recreational amenities that our older generation greatly enjoys. Milap also serves as a temporary emergency shelter for newly arrived migrants to Canada.
NEW MIGRANT SUPPORT
Newcomers to Canada seek assistance in areas such as education, careers, legal matters, and more. The UPICA team of professionals is consistently available to provide guidance and support during their settlement process.
